I’m here in the green courtyard of my house. I just came down from the apartment to sit here. For the last hours it was really heavily raining. There is still a bit of drizzle and showers when I’m sitting on a garden chair under the old chestnut trees. For the last hours it was really heavily raining. There is still a bit of drizzle and showers when I’m sitting on a garden chair under the old chestnut trees. Their leaves are soaked. The rain is just about to finish. I hear lot of dropping sounds. It is almost like a delay or echo of the rain. One first bird starts singing. Some windows of my neighbours are open. I can hear sounds from a kitchen. From time to time it’s been windy water leaks on the ground and it smells from earth and rain. I make 3 subsequent drawings more or less one after the other to diagram the process of the diminishing agency of rain.
